FinCap says the Commerce Commission should have timely visibility of lending issues which can cause significant harm to the wellbeing of borrowers.

FinCap supports guidance for lenders to self-report potential or clear breaches of the Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act (CCCFA) or other relevant consumer laws.

FinCap has submitted on the Self-reporting Guidance for Lenders – consultation draft.
