Pushpa Wood
Pushpa is the Director - Financial Education and Research Centre (Fin-Ed Centre) at the Massey University.
Pushpa was previously the Education Manager at the Financial Literacy and Retirement Income (now known as Retirement Commission). She has worked across the school, tertiary, NGO and industry sectors to improve adult literacy and financial literacy and was a member of the New Zealand Qualifications Authority’s project advisory group. She has been appointed as an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the Queen’s 90th Birthday Honours List for her services to financial literacy and interfaith relations. She has recently been appointed to the Financial Codes Committee.
Pushpa is a Trustee to provide a perspective for the wider financial capability sector interests.
